GHANA NATIONAL ASSOCIATION OF ADVENTIST STUDENTS (GNAAS)

GNAAS

The GNAAS fellowship is an association of Adventist students. This fellowship was inaugurated in the year 2004, with Mr. Edward Osei as the patron, during the time of inauguration. Mr. Edward Osei was transferred to a different institution, which led to the handing over of patronage to Mr. Ebenezer Tenkorang as the current patron of the fellowship. This took place in the year 2011. Mr. Edward Osei did a lot for the fellowship in his term of patronage, and Mr. Ebenezer Tenkorang has taken up the challenge to keep the fire of the fellowship burning.
As the current patron of the club, he has proved his capability in managing the affairs of the fellowship. According to the plans he has and what he has done so far, it is obvious that the fellowship shall get to the next level of ranking.

As at now, the fellowship has a number of forty active members. The membership strength of the club is very strong, simply because, the members are devoted to the activities of the fellowship. Members also help the executives to run the affairs of the GNAAS, by suggesting activities and ideas to the executives, in order to keep the fellowship lively.

The GNAAS fellowship has visions, missions and objectives as any other organisation. Since this fellowship was inaugurated, it has been our mission, to make the truth known as it is in the Bible. Due to this, the fellowship, has taken it upon itself to invite men and women who are well versed in the Bible to teach the Bible into detail. Students who are not members are also invited to have much understanding as they read the Bible on their own. Our objective is to fulfil the challenge Christ threw to us, thus preaching and teaching the word of light to all nations. It is the vision of the fellowship that every student would conform to the ways of Christ Jesus, as directed in the Bible, before he or she completes or leaves the four walls of the school. Above, is just a summary of the visions, missions and objectives of the GNAAS fellowship.

The GNAAS fellowship is in an institution of education. Due to this, the fellowship has got certain projects and initiatives in mind. These projects and initiatives are what the fellowship wants to develop. Time, as we all know, must be kept well, since we are aware that time is money. This has prompted the fellowship to supply the school with wall clocks, dust bins in classrooms in order to prevent littering in class. A lot more are projects which will be developed as time goes by.

As a fellowship on campus, people from outside can contact us through, facebook: NJB GNAAS, E-mail: njbgnaas@hotmail.com. Contacts can be made through our patron on phone: 0244 8443417, E-mail: tenkorange@yahoo.com.
